Who or What I Think Killed DigitalPoint Forum’s Adsense

The Google Adsense on DigitalPoint forums started to disappear few days ago. Just in case you don’t know what DigitalPoint forum is, it is one of the most popular webmaster forum with atleast 500 registered users online at a time. Of course, there are thousands of guest users there online at a time too.
DigitalPoint forum was unique in a sense that the admin Shawn there installed a Revenue Sharing feature, through which the owner will share 50% of the revenue from Adsense with the users. Basically, if you start a new topic thread there, you and the owner Shawn will have their adsense displayed 50% each. That maybe the reason for DigitalPoint’s success.
But now the Adsense have disappeared for a few days, and the staff there aren’t responding to the topic’s where users are asking why ads are not being displayed. Here is what I think the DigitalPoint Forum’s Adsense:
1. There was a topic named “If someone keep clicking the ads on the DP.” Maybe this enticed quite a lot of users to click on Ads there.
2. Google didn’t like the way Adsense was either being used or abused on DigitalPoint forums.
3. Shawn the owner of DP himself either cut out or messed with the the Adsense code there.
4. DP is trying to create a buzz.
5. DigitalPoint is planning to get rid of Adsense slowly and slowly so that they won’t have to share their revenues anymore.
6. The reason keeps on going. So I am going to stop here. ![]()
