Recently, we have a survey released that focused on 69 top cities in the United States with population of 250,000 or more. It showed the most literate cities of the United States. According to it, Minneapolis have the most literate people there.
Minneapolis along with Seattle, Pittsburgh, Denver and Washington, D.C., have been making the top 10 literate cities ever since the this study was started in year 2003.

The study used six key indicators of literacy by Jack Miller of Central Connecticut State University, which are newspaper circulation, number of bookstores, library resources, periodical publishing resources, educational attainment and Internet resources.

So the top and most literate cities award goes to:

1—Minneapolis, Minnesota.
2—Seattle, Washington.
3—St. Paul, Minnesota.
4—Denver, Colorado.
5—Washington, D.C.
6—St. Louis, Montana.
7—San Francisco, California.
8—Atlanta, Georgia.
9—Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
10—Boston, Massachusetts.

These cities are the most wired cities.
