Often times we think that eating too much food will make us fat and obese. But it is not true if we choose our diets carefully and eat food in moderation. I found out some of the best foods that heavier people might consider eating if they are looking to shed some pounds.

List of top foods that help you lose weight:

Fruits and Vegetable should be on our top list of food to eat. They are not only healthy but good proportion of fruits and vegetables can take away part of the fatty foods we eat on a daily basis.

Low-calorie frozen foods. There are tons of low calorie foods that that help with losing weights. Such foods often comes in a small package of somewhere from 100- to 300-calories in a bag.

Drinks: one of the most effective way to stay skinny is to not indulge in sweetened drinks. Instead, try unsweetened teas and coffees like crystal light, diet mistic and diet snapple. You can also consider flavored, but non caloric, drinks such as bottled water, orange and soda pops.

Milk is good for you – even though most of us think milk make you bigger and fat, but it turns out the calcium in the milk helps fight protein for its space. A research showed that people who are on diet eating low calorie protein foods has more chances of losing weight if they also drink three servings of non fat milk each day during that time period.

Hot Cheetos make you look hot? Well, I am not exactly sure about this but hot chilli pepper does help you lose weight. People give different reasons behind this phenomena, some of them include the capsazin, drinking lots of water after hot spicy taste and make your metabolism works faster.

Oatmeal in the morning – oatmeal comes in different packages these days; some of them come in big packets where as other come as oatmeal bars or one serving packet. Anyway you like, oat meals are good choice of nutrition diet that can not only slim you down but also improve your health. Oatmeal reduce cholesterol; it has calcium, iron and many other vitamins and minerals. Best of all, it is a good source of soluble fiber.

Grapes are bad only if eaten in excess. As long as you don’t eat too many grapes, it is good for you. Grapes got no fat and it contains very few calories. Grapes is what we call juicy foods; they contain a lot of liquids that make you feel fuller and prevent craving for dessert, for example. Other juicy foods include watermelon, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, mushrooms, grapefruit, and cantaloupe.

Go Fishing – fish has one of the most important nutrient that many people either lack or don’t care about, but is very essential. It is Omega-3. Fish is a good source of omega 3 which considered a good fat blocker.

Now the most important thing to note – a lot of people like to have dressings with their salad; so sometimes it may defeat the purpose of eating salad with the aim to lose weight. But think about this – adding little bit of vinegar can lower your glycemic index.

    To lose weight by eating food sounds weird but I think it meant the diets that suppresses your appetite. Basically these appetite suppressant foods such as salad, seeds and soup make you feel full but not making you full in real.
